I have used it 5 times with great achieve.The last time I did not jump start a vehicle, but only used the jump start as a power supply. I went camping and connected a 12 volt canister vacuum cleaner to one of the two 12V outlets of the jump start to vacuum inside my tent. This is a great feature of this jump start.

Hooks in easily, and the OBD-II port is easier to find then you would think (I have a Chevy, Dodge, and Ford and the port is pretty much on the same place on each, with a few inches of the parking brake release). The unit takes 4 aaa batteries if you want to save and review away ffrom the vehicle, but the OBD-II supplies power and you don't need batteries to have it work when hooked to the port. Reading the port takes just seconds. It will then give you the code which you can erase if you choose. That process takes a couple of steps so you won't do it accidently if you did want to leave the code on your car's computer.
